A delegation from Hamas is expected to arrive in Cairo today to present their observations on the proposed plan for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Israeli forces launched attacks on areas in the central and southern Gaza Strip, heightening concerns of an imminent ground offensive in regions densely populated by Palestinians who have already been displaced due to the Israeli-Hamas conflict.

As night fell on Thursday, an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the southern city of Khan Younis, resulting in the death of eight Palestinians, according to health officials. Additionally, three Palestinians lost their lives and six were injured in an Israeli missile strike on a house in Maghazi camp in central Gaza, as reported by the Palestine Red Crescent.

Hamas delegation is due in Cairo :

A Hamas delegation is scheduled to arrive in Cairo today to provide its "observations" on an Egyptian-proposed plan for a ceasefire.

Sources close to Hamas indicate that Cairo's proposed three-stage plan involves periodic ceasefires, a gradual release of hostages held by Hamas in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in Israel, and ultimately culminating in a ceasefire to bring an end to the conflict.
